Hello Families of Room 22,
Announcements:
Thank you! A special thank you to our parent volunteers who helped make our field trip last Thursday to the Seattle Children’s Theatre such a big success. All the stars aligned and it was a wonderful show, a beautiful day to enjoy lunch outdoors and everyone had a great time!
Reading calendars: It’s hard to believe it is already May! Please remember to turn in your April reading calendars tomorrow.
Mother's Day Celebration: Please join us this Thursday, May 8th, at 9:30am, for a small Mother's Day Celebration (approx. 1/2 hour). If you are unable to attend this event, please feel free to invite another family member to join your son/daughter.
Class Party: Your children have been working hard and have earned another class party. We will celebrate this Friday, May 9th. Please send your son/daughter to school in their PJ’s with their favorite stuffed animal. We will watch a movie, eat popcorn, and share our “stuffies”.
Snacks: We are in need of just a couple more snacks to make it through the end of the year. If you are able to make a small donation to the class that would be greatly appreciated.
Learning This Week:
Spelling: Spelling pattern words this week have “ur”. They are: turn, burn, hurt, purse, and slurp.
Our sight words are: put, end, does, another, and well.
